Fizemos a leitura deste filme maravilhoso com os nossos adolescentes do Jayme, este ano de 2012, no I bimestre. Trabalhamos o Bullying . Não a violência como objetivo principal. Ali observamos a família de Matt e Jennifer se mudando da cidade de Baltimore para Franklin Falls, uma cidade rural, de campos, montanhas e fazendas. Há um novo começo em tudo na vida desta família. Quais os novos desafios pela frente? Os antigos ainda não resolvidos? A nova escola. Os novos amigos, ou colegas. Onde o Bullying estava presente? Como objetivos específicos estudamos vocabulários sobre os cenários das cidades e dos Estados dos EUA. Diálogos sobre cumprimentos e despedidas. Personouns Pronouns, Verb To be e outros mais, Imperativos, pois a leitura nos permite isso. E aproveitamos para inserirmos o tema família também, no novo vocabulário. Adiantamos o II Bimestre, com isto. Usamos a Língua Materna Portuguesa como ponto de partida para este estudo, pois os alunos deste ano ainda não sabem muito para acompanharem o filme em Inglês , tão pouco com legendas. Percebi que não leem muito rápido o Português ainda, o que dificultaria nosso trabalho. Então, optamos por esta abordagem de leitura visual com audição na nossa Língua. Foi uma experiência ímpar. Os alunos que apresentam problemas disciplinares se comportaram muito bem. Participaram dos questionamentos após o término dos capítulos escolhidos e vistos. E também das atividades que foram dadas como textos em Inglês para lerem e fazerem em casa. Todos fizeram. Até os pais. Havia crianças dizendo, teacher não dá coisa muito difícil para minha mãe ou meu pai me ajudar, tá? Eu disse faz parte! São os desafios da vida escolar em família.

Depois, desta parte introdutória, continuamos a fazer a leitura do filme. Ao terminarmos , discutimos, mais sobre o Bullying, o mal compartamento dos personagens do filme. A falta de Educação Informal, que se inicia dentro dos lares e é exercitado na vida fora de casa, afetando a todos com fortes ações de violência sejam elas de ordem física, moral e psicológica, também. É a segunda e última parte do filme em que Matt e Lassie demonstram fidelidade, bravura, coragem e acima de tudo amor uns pelos outros, que é respeito mútuo ao próximo, nos desfecho do filme. Uma resposta positiva aos ataques frequentes do Bullying em sociedade. Como assim? De que forma? Basta assistir ao filme. Um clássico. Lassie é um filme completo para os adolescentes desta idade, ou a todos nós adultos também.
